The Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum

The Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum Belgicum (CCP) was founded in 1988 under impulse of Prof Madeleine LEJOUR and Prof Guido MATTON, to establish on a national level, an education for all candidate specialists in Plastic Surgery in Belgium.

The CCP organizes among other things:

  • educational meetings on Saturdays, several times a year, on subjects in Plastic Surgery, which are presented by experts in this matter. The candidate specialists are obliged to be present.

  • a yearly control of knowledge by a written exam on a national level

  • an oral exam at the termination of training. Succeeding to this exam gives the right to the title of “Fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum”, a diploma handed out on the plenary session on one of the two meetings of the Belgian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
