I'm looking for a plastic surgeon for a certain surgery, but I don't know any. How should I proceed to find the one I will be satisfied of?

Don't hesitate to ask your family doctor or other attending physicians (gynaecologist, dermatologist,...) about it. They are well placed to know the required qualities for the surgery that you would like to undergo (as well for reconstructive, as for aesthetic surgery). They generally have privileged contacts with medical specialists of all specialties, in who they trust. Get informed by word of mouth. The possible satisfaction about the results of a surgeon by one of your friends or acquaintances could be a positive element in making your selection.
