I am a certified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon from Belgium. I completed his studies in Medicine in 2015 at the University of Ghent with great honours (magna cum laude). From 2015 to 2018, I completed 3 years in General Surgery in Ghent and Bruges, where I focused on abdominal, vascular and cardiac surgery.    In 2018, I was selected by de world-renowned Prof. Dr. Moustapha Hamdi for a residency in the prestigious department of the University of Brussels. He gave me the opportunity to receive a personalised training and taught him the most important aspects within the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. I also completed a part of my residency in Paris (Institut Gustave Roussy) and Munich (Klinikum Bogenhausen). I graduated in 2022 with the highest distinction (summa cum laude). My main specialties are facial aesthetics, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, microsurgery, and body contouring surgery.   Throughout my residency, I published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented several times on national and international meetings, such as EURAPS and ISAPS. I am also an active ISAPS member; member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgeons (RBSPS) and fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (CCP).   In order to connect all Belgian residents in Plastic Surgery, I founded the non-profit organisation Belgian Residents in Plastic Surgery (BRPS), to provide an added value to the formation of young, motivated surgeons. Additionally, I founded a MedTech Company in 2018, called Augmented Anatomy, that specialises in the visualisation of the human anatomy through Augmented Reality.   I speak fluently Dutch, French, English and German and basic Spanish.
